After leaving the shelter, your yokel character, can acquire fields, also called plots. Having your own field, producing your own resources, consuming them or selling them... now you can play an important role in the town's economy.
Your character can buy its fields upon:
- completing Chapter 3
- or
Acquiring a field allows a character to become a peasant.

Buy a field
Your character can own up to two fields.
To buy a field through the land market, a character must:
- be in the town of its property,
- choose one of the purchase methods:
- sales offers: from 400 to 1000 pounds ()
- have the pounds in its inventory.
Transactions (purchase and sale) are immediate.
Notes:
- Purchase of a second field is only possible by unlocking the skill "Squire".
- The 5 special fields/farms are not available at the time of the first purchase () and are only available in certain regions.
- The mayor can put taxes on all fields except on the fallow fields.
Town Hall
Buying a field at the town hall costs:
This purchased method allows your character to choose the type of land he want to farm.
Note that the pounds spent this way simply vanish into the levanesque void. This means they do not benefit anyone, not even the town hall, nor the county.
Sales offers
Buying a field by consulting one of the sale offers means buying it from one of the inhabitants of the town who put it up for sale.
In that case, the price is anywhere between 400 and 1000 pounds () per field (first or second).
This mode of purchase does not allow you to choose the agricultural plot. It is whichever the seller has previously chosen. It can be reset nevertheless.
The pounds spent are paid into the house's chest of the field's seller.

Special fields provide us with the food, raw materials or cultivated products needed for production of luxury products, and can be:

- These types of fields are only available in certain towns of Renaissance Kingdoms!
- The hop fields are only accessible by the community of monks residing in monasteries.
Reset a field
Resetting a field means changing the way field is used, hence avoiding the need to buy a new one. Resetting a field costs 50 pounds ().
To reset a field, your character needs to:
- be in the town of its property
- not have an active or accepted offer
- have enough pounds in the personal inventory
- reset a field ( )
- confirm the choice
This way, your character will be given a fallow field, needing to choose its agricultural plot.
Notes:
- You can reset a plot as often as you like, and at almost any time. It will always cost 50 pounds per reset.
- It will not be possible to reset a field unless all Chapter 3 quests are completed.
Work in a field
Your character can:
- in their own field:
- in another character's field:
- work by responding to a job offer
- work by responding to a job offer
Working in a field modifies its quality. Quality benefits from bonuses:
- according to field order (first or second).
- if the owner possesses:
- certain skills in the "Agriculture" Skill Tree
- in their property's inventory:
- the virtue "Conservation".
- if the worker possesses:
- Intelligence and/or Strength points
- and equip the Scythe of the Ankou
- the virtue "Self giving".
The next day, the harvest is available in the owner's property's inventory whether or not the work in the field is finish.
Note:
- The worker can be either the character owning the field, or another character.
Work
To work in their field, your character needs to:
- be in the town where the field is.
- not be working elsewhere.
- put the raw materials needed in their property's inventory prior the work.
- choose the action that needs to be done for a period of 22 hours or 100 APs :
- confirm the action :
To work in someone else's field, your character needs to:
- go to the Town Hall
- have unlocked the skill "Sociable" in the "Work" skill tree
- respond to a job offer:
Note:
- The "Work" action can't be cancelled once launched.
Hire
To hire a worker in their field, your character needs to:
- put the raw materials and tools needed in their property's inventory prior the hire.
- have at least 12 pounds per hire in their inventory
- possesses the skill "Agricultural employer" in the "Agriculture" skill tree
- choose the action that needs to be done for a period of 22 hours or 100 APs:

It is possible to cancel a job offer as long as its not taken. To do so your character needs to :

- Your character needs to have unlocked the skills:
- "Agricultural Employer" to be able to hire workers in their field.
- "Demanding Employer" to be able to ask for Intelligence or Strength characteristics.
- Your character can hire workers even when on Travel.
- The Sheriff can put Taxes on the wages of field workers. These taxes are paid by the character owning the field.
Put a field in the village
To place a field in the village your character needs to:
- be in the town where the field is
- access the field
- select it:
- put it on an empty "field" location:
Moving a field costs 5 pounds ().
Note:
- You can place and move a field as much as you like and whenever you want.
- If no "field" locations are available, contact the mayor or Planning Assistant to have new locations established on the 3D layout.
Sale a field
Selling a field involves publishing a sale offer on the land market so that one of the village's inhabitants can buy it.
To sell a field, your character needs to :
