The option to develop the property is accessible via:

- the browser:
Note:
- Your character has to possess a house to furnish it.
- Your character has to be in the town where the house is to place / remove objects.
- Furnishings can only be placed that are in the chest of your property or in the personal inventory.
- Furnishings removed from the house will be added to the chest of your property.
- When moving your residence to another town all furnishings used to develop the property will move automatically, too.
- When changing the type of house all furnishings will be removed automatically from the house and return to the chest of the property.

Place an object
To place an object first select it in the side bar. The main view of the house (or garden) will change by displaying tiles:
- red: object cannot be placed here
- green: free space
- no colour: space is taken
Choose a space with green tiles to place the object by clicking on it - the item will be displayed in the house.
Note:
- Right mouse click will rotate the object and allow e.g. wall decorations to be placed on other walls of the house.
- Carpets should be placed first so you can place other items (like tables, chairs,...) on the carpet. If you want to place a carpet under already placed items, you will have to remove the items first to place the carpet, then place the removed items again on the carpet.
Place a wall or a floor
To place a wall or a floor first select it in the side bar. Move the cursor to the wall or floor you want to replace - once you see the wall / the floor change to the new style click to place it.
Note:
- It is not possible to remove a wall / floor style per se. You can only replace the style in use with a new style - the replaced wall / floor object will be send to the chest of your property.
Move / Remove an object
To move an object around simply click on it - then choose a new location and click again to place it.
If you want to remove the object from the house click on it and then click on the chest icon in the top left corner. (not possible for walls / floors)
Space in the house / garden
Depending on the chosen model of house in use its number of available rooms, the available space per room and the size of the garden may vary:
Keep in mind, when changing the model of house all furnishings will be removed automatically and added to the chest of the property. If you want to redesign your home it might be faster to change the type of house for insta-removal of all items and switching back to the house type you had than removing each item manually.
