Improvised weapon : -2 hits - Gives +1 hit to all members of the bearer's army while drawing attention to you. This effect does not stack with other trumpet-type items. - The ideal instrument to terrify a Roman legion, or simply wake your neighbours with the squeal of an enraged pig. Can break during a fight. Appeared for the first time during the 1473 Christmas Festivities.
The Carnyx is:
- a support weapon:
- increases the combat coefficient of other characters that are members in the same army as your character while increasing the risk of being attacked by opponents.
- cannot be made by an artisan in their workshop.
- a special object:
- obtained
- during the Christmas banquet event by exchanging 375 feast points in the Christmas shop. (2025)
- by opening a Midas's chest.
- obtained
Effect:
- -2 hits in combat dealing to an opponent during a fight involving an army.
- +1 hit to all members of the same army as the bearer of the carnyx
- ?% increased chance of being targeted by enemies
It can be sold or bought on the market of town between 125.00 and 250.95 pounds.
It has a weight of 1 in the inventory, but a weight of 0 when equipped in the wardrobe.
It can be found on the wardrobe's slot: VIII. Weapons
It can break during a fight. The probability to break is ?? (determined by dice roll).
Note:
- Its weight is 0 as long as it is equipped in the wardrobe.
- It is automatically removed from the wardrobe and placed in the inventory by equipping any other weapon using the same wardrobe slot .
- It is automatically removed from the wardrobe by breaking it.
- For the effect to be active the weapon needs to be equipped in the wardrobe.
- The bonus cannot be increased with other trumpet-type weapons (abyssal conches, odyssey conches, Champion's Trumpets 1472 or Herald of arms trumpets).
