County councillor

The county councillors, 12 in number including the Count/Duke, are responsible for:
- managing a county/duchy.
- auditing the finances of town halls and/or the county/duchy (deactivated).
- electing the Count/Duke.
- performing the duties according to their functions they are given by the Count/Duke.
- voting on laws and decrees that govern life within the County/Duchy.
The current council can be checked in the Bailiwick > Information about the County > Council room.
They are elected to the council after county/ducal elections.
Their terms of office last a maximum of 60 days.
They are assigned a role / a function by the Count/Duke from among the following:
- Captain
- Constable
- Judge
- Mines Superintendent
- Public Prosecutor
- Sergeant
- Sheriff
- Spokesperson
- Trade Minister
- 2 advisors without an IG office
Holding a position in the council entitles your character to:
- 500 luxury points
- 100 influence points
- a badge according to the function
- a title according to the function
Note:
- After losing a seat in the council (due to resignation or not being elected) the influence points will decrease within the timespan of a month down to 10%. This remaining value will be retained for life by all former council members.
- It is not possible for the Count to remove anyone from a council seat, only to take away a function.
