Any character with a level of 51 or higher can take a lesson at the university, with the exception of languages which require level 100 or higher.

Taking a lesson:

  • consumes the rest of the day
  • costs between 15.00 and 34.00 pounds
    • between 10.00 and 29.00 pounds for the teacher's wage
    • 5 pounds for the administrative costs of the university
  • provides gains for a character's scholastic skills

Please note that you need to carry 10 pounds more than the lesson fee in order to register for the lesson. Initially, only the lesson fee will be taken and then the 5 pounds fee in a second phase.

The gains in scholastic skills, excluding languages, are:

  • if your character does not have the skill taught or the prerequisites to unlock it:
    • the appearance of the skill at 0% in the scholastic skills list
  • if your character does not have the skill taught but has acquired its prerequisites:
    • see the gains if your character already has the skill taught
  • if your character already has the skill taught:

The skill gains for languages are:

  • if your character is not a Noble of the Robe or Noble of the Sword and:
    • the difference in skill level between them (the student) and the teacher is:
      • more than 50%: between 4% and 6%
      • between 40% and 50%: between 3% and 5%
      • between 30% and 40%: between 3% and 4%
      • between 20% and 30%: between 2% and 3%
      • between 10% and 20%: between 1% and 2%
      • less than 10%: between 0% and 1%
      • less than 0%: 0%
  • if your character is a Noble of the Robe or Noble of the Sword and:
    • the difference in skill level between them (the student) and the teacher is:
      • more than 50%: between 7% and 12%
      • between 40% and 50%: between 6% and 10%
      • between 30% and 40%: between 5% and 8%
      • between 20% and 30%: between 4% and 6%
      • between 10% and 20%: between 2% and 5%
      • less than 10%: between 1% and 3%
      • less than 0%: 0%

Your character can benefit from bonus skill gains, if they:

Note:

  • It is impossible to work elsewhere and take a lesson at the same time.
  • A lesson has 5 places. As soon as it opens, the first students to arrive are the first to be served.
  • The bonus linked to intelligence is attributed in a proportional way:
    • 0 intelligence points: 0%
    • 255 intelligence points: 20%
  • A character with a level of 50 (51?) or higher can study but will not benefit from the free skill gains awarded when they reach level 100 and choose a Way.
