Every character in a town can listen to the mass at the church scheduled and prepared by the parish priest.
The priest can schedule 2 mass days:
- 2 masses on Sundays (day cannot be changed)
- 2 masses on any other day of the week (= Monday - Saturday)
To check the time of the next scheduled mass visit the "My parish" tab in the church.
As soon as the mass has started there is a link "Listen to the mass" available for a duration of 2 hours displayed in the church.
The link vanishes as soon as the mass is over.
A character can only listen once per day to the mass.
After listening to the mass your character can donate to the collection (between 1 and 5 pounds) if he wants to. The money will be transferred to the church treasury.
Listening to the mass is no task, it does not require working time / energy.
It will decrease the sin level or increase the virtue level of your character and increase the mood slightly.
The priest can check in his priest's office who were listening to the mass and who donated to the collection.
The priest needs to prepare the mass with a loaf of bread and a jug of wine - if he fails to prepare on time no one can listen the mass.
Note:
- Only the priest can prepare the mass. If the priest resigns there is no mass at all (even if he prepared the mass before resigning).
