The church treasury is a part of the priest's office and can be accessed only by the elected priest of the town. It can be accessed via:

• the application:
  • Village > Places > Church > Priest's office > Purchases
• the browser:
  • Village > Church > Priest's office > Purchases

The church treasury is funded by:

• donations made at the collection after a Mass
• the earnings from confessions (a confession costs 10 pounds)

The church treasury allows the priest to:

• check the current financial status of the church
• check the current available loaves of bread and jugs of wine - one of each is required to prepare a Mass
• make a donation to the diocese
• pay the confessors (deactivated)

Note:

• Contrary to what the words ‘At the moment you are buying for yourself.’ and the “Change” button suggest, it is not possible to use church funds to make any purchases, not even a loaf of bread. The ‘Change’ button has no effect.
