If the family is defined by blood ties and marriage only, the Family Clan is a different entity: it is a group of characters who have decided to get together because they share something in common, and which they define themselves. Some will see it as an aristocratic "House", but not everyone, it is not reserved for nobles, it is up to you to define the identity of your Family Clan, its rules of operation, its raison d'être! They were not designed to be institutions with their own treasury, but it is up to you to use the features of the Family Clans!
Family clans are registered in ... the Clan Registry, a building present in each village.
Each family clan:
- is managed by a Head of the Clan (who can be overthrown by a conspiracy)
- is ranked according to its influence points (which is the sum of the influence points of all the clan members). The family clan's influence score changes immediately when it gains or loses a member with an influence score. On the other hand, the personal influence score of the characters is only modified when the day passes.
