Royal army
From Official Wiki of the Renaissance Kingdoms
A royal army is an army led by a Royal Captain.
A royal army has the distinctive feature of being able to change the method of appointing a bishop when it controls the status quo of a diocese's capital.
If it does so, it gives the sovereign the power to choose the next bishop at the end of the current bishop's term from the list of potential candidates available for consultation in the cathedral.
A royal army can also reduce the amount of annates if it controls the status quo of the diocese's capital.
