The rector is the head of the university of the county.

They are appointed by the Count and can be replaced at any time.

They determine which lessons are taught each day and by whom. Anyone can apply to teach, at a rate of between 10 and 50 pounds per student, but only the rector can validate the applications.

There can only be two lessons per day per university.

As a general rule, the rectors draw up a schedule of the lessons that will be given. It is usually published on the university notice board.

It should be noted that being a rector does not provide any salary, unless the county council has provided for this.

Being appointed rector gives 50 influence points.
