The editor-in-chief's office is accessible via :

Manage dispatches

The editor-in-chief's desk is no different from the editor's desk when it comes to :

  • writing a dispatch
  • viewing published stories
  • viewing pending stories
  • resigning

Manage reporters' contracts

Additionally to the options the editor has, the editor-in-chief has an additional tab for managing reporters' contracts.

The menu allows the editor-in-chief to:

  • manage the contracts of pending reporters:
    • read the CV sent when they applied
    • accept the application
    • reject the application
  • manage the contracts of reporters under contract:
    • check the number of days remaining of the contracts
    • resetting the timer to 60 days

Publish a dispatch

The editor-in-chief manages the dispatches sent by editors or by him-/herself. He/She has the options to:

  • view them
  • edit them
  • publish them
  • reject them

Note:

  • When the editor-in-chief is the author of a dispatch, he or she must still validate it afterwards, just like another editor's dispatch.
  • During the royal elections the Editor-in-chief can tick a special box when publishing an article so that it is also published on the special royal elections page.
