The bishop is the person in charge of leading a diocese under the authority of the archbishop of the province.
He is appointed by the Pope or by a Sovereign.
His term of office lasts 3 months and 30 days (4 months) and is renewable once. At the beginning of his term of office, the annates are taken from the treasury and paid automatically to the Pope.
In his office, he may:
- appoint or dismiss a member of the diocesan council or canon.
- communicate (not activated).
- resign.
Holding the position of bishop grants:
- divine truth points.
- 500 influence points.
- a bishop's badge.
- a title.
