Working on a skill field serves a scholar to discover a new [[scholastic skill]] within a certain [[skill field]].<br/><br/>

Working on a skill field takes 10 or 22 hours. It is impossible to [[work]] elsewhere at the same time. Furthermore, it costs 2.50 [[pound]]s for 10 hours and 5.00 pounds for 22 hours.<br/><br/>

It is not possible to work on a given [[skill field]] if you do not already have knowledge in that area.<br/><br/>

To do so, you must:
* Go to the [[university]] (accessible at the [[Bailiwick]])
* Click on the link "You can work here"
* Click on the link "Work in one of your skill fields"
* Choose the skill field to work on
* Click on the "Work" button<br/><br/>

Gain knowledge:
* 10 hours: Low probability of discovering a [[scholastic skill]]
* 22 hours: Very low probability of discovering a [[scholastic skill]]
