Cathedral

The cathedral is the seat of a diocese (suffragan diocese or metropolitan diocese), where the bishop (or archbishop) works, assisted by their diocesan council.
The cathedral of each parish can be accessed via the ‘Cathedral’ tab on the church page of the village screen.
In this cathedral, your character can:
- Consult the Memorial Registry
- Find out the name of the Pope and write to him (but it's pointless, he seldom replies, poor man, he's so busy...)
- Find out which province the diocese belongs to
- Find out the names of the other dioceses in the province
- Find out the name of the current bishop (or archbishop) and contact him
- Find out when the current bishop's term of office ends
- Find out how the bishop is currently appointed (by the Pope or by the Sovereign) and requirements that need to be be met to be appointed
- Consult the list of potential candidates for the position of bishop or archbishop (list updated every Sunday).
- Find out the composition of the diocesan council
- Read the Book of Virtues
