The pound () is the only currency accepted in the game that allows you to :

• buy products on the market
• to pay for various things : (salaries, courses at the university, beers at the tavern, etc ...)
• obtain :
  • Influence points.
  • Trophees.
    
    

Note: 100 pence = 1 pounds.

It can be obtained by :

• exchange with a peddler.
• buying boosts.
• using objects.
• receiving bonuses.
• by working and selling objects on the market.
• during Events and Excavations.

Possessing pounds in your inventory or in property inventory gives influence points at the rate of 1 point per 100 pounds, within the limit of 1000 points (or 100,000 pounds).
